Shouting Underwater

In the river
With my brothers
Playing sinking down
And shouting underwater

White teeth bared
Air enspheared
And spiral scrambling
Up towards the light

Understanding nothing but
The precipice of drowning
The long game
Stretched between our lungs

Playing water
With my brothers
Who can touch the
River's floor?

The magnet dark
Biting ice rush
Between our ears
We'll ever find it

Understanding nothing but
The precipice of drowning
The long game
Stretched between our lungs
In the water hole
