You have snapped the same flower
Every day for years
And the Polaroid squares
For the walls of your room
Form a lining

I lie in your temple of red And dapples where the winters
Called the sun
And they said
Come, sate our passion deeper

How lily my skin
My skin of the valley
To which you have brought me
Just to lay me down
A peony, how
I am exposed

Your introverted hobby
Even spreads along the stairs
Summer shadows
Beads of glisten
I remember passing
Up to here

I lie in your temple of red
The world is what
The world is, but
We are instead
A light on in the window
Let the sirens wail
And dogs attempt
A harmony

How lily my skin
My skin of the valley
To which you have brought me
Just to lay me down
A peony, how
I am exposed
