A bird keeps up along beside you
Out the window of the train

Or the shadow of a flower

By your shadow I will know we shared the sun

That things move so slowly when they're far away
But they're so fleeting when they get so close

Or list of things about a flower
Or a list of all the places that the flower
And by my place then I will know
I've found the one

The spell was here today
A window bird was keeping up along beside me
As if it were going my way

Send me a picture of a flower
Or your hands about a flower
Or a picture of a flower on a paper bag of seeds
And by the handful I will find a little sun
