What I Like About the Sun

I quit the traffic jam
The one I know they ran
Just for my car and me

Self-help and positive
Psychology: they give me
Creepy feelings
I like my wheels in spin

The thing I love about the sun
Is it never gets things done
It's just happy to
Glint in my chrome

I fixed the paper jam
With a flint and tinder
(Well at the time
It was the right thing to be done)

I've heard the stories how
Much fire in its belly
Our star can take before
It turns and eats us all

What I like about the sun
Is it fits under my thumb
And it's just happy there
With no place else to go
